Welcome to La Castagne [click to enlarge]Your hosts - Ruth, Fergus & their daughter, Ellen - have been living in this beautiful region of France since 2007 with their labrador, "Diva", and their cat, "Atomic"!
Living on site, Ruth & Fergus aim to be as discreet as possible during your holiday, but they are always on hand to offer guests help and advice when required.Dine in style [click to enlarge]

Domaine La Castagne has four comfortable, well-equipped gîtes for self-catering holidays. All the accommodation and facilities are perfect for adults and children alike. Cots, highchairs and baby baths are available for young families - and there are plenty of toys for the under-fives in the Play Barn.A lovely place for a holiday [click to enlarge]
The play area [click to enlarge]For older children, there is the play area with swings, a trampoline and a badminton net. Inside the Play Barn, table tennis and table football are also provided - and bicycles may be borrowed.
In addition, each gîte is equipped with internet access, a CD/radio and a TV/DVD, along with a selection of books and board games to keep the whole family amused. And, of course, there is the swimming pool, which is open from 15th May to 30th September.The south-facing pool [click to enlarge]
A quiet spot [click to enlarge]Our rural location guarantees couples peace and tranquillity throughout the year (apart from school holidays!), along with easy access to the many impressive sights in this beautiful area.

Party time! [click to enlarge]For communal dining or small parties, the Orangery (between Minervois Gîte and Fitou Gîte) is ideal for groups of up to 30 people.
On your arrival at Domaine La Castagne, you will find a Welcome Pack of regional produce in your gîte. Also supplied are some basics, such as salt & pepper, olive oil, washing up liquid, loo roll, charcoal and matches.Welcome to your gîte! [click to enlarge]
